The Indiana Recorders Association received an opinion from the Attorney General regarding the recording fees UCC’s.
Per this order, all Indiana Recorders will be charging $25 for Financing Statements, Financing Statement Amendments and Information Requests beginning Jan. 1, 2021.
UCC’s will also now be treated like any other miscellaneous documents. They will not have their own unique numbering system. They will be assigned regular recording numbers just like other documents.
There will also be a $1.00 fee for each copy that is printed.
UCC’s are now available for searching via LAREDO and TAPESTRY. We are also still maintaining a paper file for all UCC’s recorded.
