NOTICE OF PORTER COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION 2008
A Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
STARTING / TUESDAY APRIL 7TH 2008
Absentee Voting “IN PERSON” will be available in the Voter Registration Office located at 155 Indiana Ave, Valparaiso Ste. 105
and at the Portage N. County Government Building located at 3560 Willowcreek Rd. The hours for voting at the Valparaiso location are as follows:
Monday thru Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Also, the last two Saturdays before the election Saturday April 26th and May 3rd 2008. 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.The hours for voting at the Portage location are as follows:
Monday thru Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm NO SATURDAYS
All voting hours at these locations will end May 5th 2008 at 12:00 noon! IN ADDITTION:
Anyone wishing to vote “ABSENTEE by MAIL” may do so by calling our office to request an absentee application. All completed applications MUST BE in our office by April 28th 2008. 219-465-3484 / 219-465-3486
THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE, OR MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR CURRENT VOTERS REGISTRATION, FOR THE MAY 6TH 2008 ELECTION WILL BE April 7th 2008.
Also, if you can please make mention to the public, that we are in dire need of poll workers, for both parties. They can get all the particulars by calling our office.
