CALUMET TRAIL

Entrances at Mineral Springs Road in Chesterton and the Porter/LaPorte County Line 

This 9.1 mile crushed limestone trail parallels U.S. 12 just to the north, and runs along the south side of Indiana Dunes State Park.  The trail is perfect for walking, running, biking and cross-country skiing.  A restroom can be found at the western end.  Water is not available.
