Payments
Effective immediately, Indiana Code Section 31-16-9-1 requires that
child support payments be mailed to the Indiana State Central Collection
Unit (INSCCU) at:

Payments to INSCCU can be remitted in the form of personal check, money order, cashier's, or certified check made payable to "INSCCU". Do not send cash payments to the INSCCU address. Be certain that the Porter County cause number and payer's name are on all checks or money orders, and that they are legible.

Child Support Annual Payer Fee
All
persons paying child support payments through the Indiana child support
system are assessed an annual processing fee by state law. The current
fee is $55.
Payment History
Payment histories can be obtained in the County Child Support Clerk's Office and cost $1 per page. All payment history requests and case specific inquiries require a valid photo ID.

Paternity Tests
This office is responsible for the enforcement of child support orders in divorce and paternity cases. In appropriate cases, blood tests are performed and paternity actions are filed.

Support Recipient Address Change
- You may change your address to receive child support payments in person, or mail your notarized address change to the office. Please note all mailed address changes must be notarized.
- The Post Office will not forward child support checks even if you have changed your address at the Post Office.
- This process is for your protection, and will ensure the prompt and accurate handling of your support checks.
