Prairie Magic Music Fest

Prairie Magic Music Festival

The Prairie Magic Music Fest is a celebration of rock, bluegrass, folk and Americana music set right in the heart of a beautiful County Park just minutes from the expressway.

Sunset Hill Farm County Park in Valparaiso, IN will host this festival with a dynamite initial line up including local acts the The Planetary Blues Band, The Crawpuppies, and the Blues Project, as well as Chicago favorite Nicholas Tremulis Orchestra.

The festival will also highlight craft food and beer vendors. Valpo Velvet Ice Cream and Bartlett's Gourmet Grill will be satisfying hunger while a beer garden will make local microbrews available to those 21 and over.

The event is family friendly and kids 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Bounce houses, crafts and more will entertain children.

Water will be available on site at no cost but coolers and outside food and beverages are not allowed.

This year, we're also offering CAMPING! Come spend the day at the Festival and sleep under the stars in the Sunset Hill Farm Campground. Wagons will be available to take visitors back and forth from the campground. Just $5/Family. Tents only. Tickets required.

Festival tickets are just $15 for adults; $10 with a student ID; and kids 12 and under are free.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Porter County Parks Foundation and the Blues Project -- an initiative to bring blues music into Valparaiso schools.
